I attended the First West Coast Computer Faire in San Francisco in 1977.
Apple announced its radical innovation - the Apple II, which had an integrated
case, basic in ROM, etc. I flew up later to meet with Mike, and toyed with
the idea of coming to work with them as employee number 13. But, I looked
at housing prices and thought that $68,000 for a 4 bedroom house in Los Gatos
was simply out of the question.
